One category, two very different buyers

Beverage powder is not a single product. The retail buyer looking for a 250-300 g flavoured drink powder for the shelf and the HoReCa buyer looking for a 1 kg hot chocolate or salep base for the kitchen are not shopping for the same thing. In this category TeraVella provides sourcing management — we do not claim to run our own beverage-powder plant. We verify a producer that matches your brief, put samples and specifications in writing, set up packaging and labelling under your brand, and manage shipment with batch documentation.

Sourcing scope

  • Retail format: a 250-300 g flavoured drink powder range across apple, black mulberry, kiwi, lemon, banana, orange, strawberry, cocoa, rosehip, cinnamon, mint-lemon, cocktail and salep varieties
  • Industrial format: 1 kg HoReCa beverage bases such as hot chocolate, milkshake, chai latte, frappé and salep
  • Labelling under your own brand and retail-ready pack preparation
  • Demand-led producer verification, sampling and batch-level document tracking
  • Packaging format (carton, doypack, stick) defined per project; project-based contract manufacturing options evaluated separately

How the process runs

1

Format and range selection

We first establish whether you are targeting the retail or the industrial format, which flavour range you want and which packaging type fits your channel.

2

Producer verification and sampling

A producer matching your brief is verified, samples and batch documents are shared, and once approved the specification is put in writing.

3

Branding and documented shipment

Labels and packaging are prepared to your brand, batch documents and export paperwork are completed, and any additional destination-market requirements are confirmed before shipping.

Who it serves

E-commerce sellers launching their own beverage brand, grocery and chain buying teams, café and restaurant chains and HoReCa distributors, corporate gift suppliers, and brands whose recipe is ready but who have no packing line. Destination labelling and import compliance are planned on the buyer's side; we take on source verification and the documentation work.

Beverage powder sourcing FAQ

Do you manufacture the beverage powders yourselves?

No. In this category our service is sourcing management: we verify a producer that matches your brief, track samples and batch documents, and manage packaging and shipping as your single point of contact. Project-based contract manufacturing options can be evaluated separately, but we publish no manufacturing commitment on this page.

Which varieties can be sourced?

On the retail side: apple, black mulberry, kiwi, lemon, banana, orange, strawberry, cocoa, rosehip, cinnamon, mint-lemon, cocktail and salep varieties. On the industrial side: bases such as hot chocolate, milkshake, chai latte, frappé and salep. Which variety is available in which period and to what specification is verified once a brief arrives.

What is the difference between the retail and industrial formats?

The retail format is a 250-300 g consumer pack destined for the shelf; the industrial format is a 1 kg base used in café, hotel and restaurant kitchens. They mean different packaging, different labelling and usually a different buyer, which is why we establish at the start of the brief which one you are targeting.

Can you pack under our own brand?

Yes. Private-label packing can be prepared to your label and packaging design, with carton, doypack and stick format options defined per project.

What are the MOQ and price?

Volume and price depend on format, flavour range, packaging type and delivery terms. We publish no fixed figures and prepare a verified quotation for each brief.

Which documents and certifications apply?

ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and ISO 27001 apply to our own systems. On the product side, batch-level analysis documents are supplied; any additional documents your destination market requires are defined together at the start of the process, and we claim no certification we do not hold.
